 Dr. Mari Lynn Anger
Dr. Anger is a Scottsdale native and graduated from Colorado State University with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. She has been practicing here in the valley ever since. She is also holds veterinary licenses in California and Colorado and is an active member in the American, Arizona, California and Colorado Veterinary Medical Associations.
As Veterinary Medicine is both a science and an art, Dr. Anger practices integrative medicine using both traditional and alternative treatments to promote wellness and preventative care.
Dr. Kristen Nelson
Dr. Nelson grew up on a farm in Watertown, Minnesota where she developed a deep love for animals of all kinds. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine. Kris then completed a small-animal internship at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York City. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Human-Animal Bond Veterinarians.
During her free time, Kris enjoys writing and speaking about the human-animal bond. Her first book, Coated With Fur: A Vet's Life chronicles her triumphs and trials as a young woman owning her first animal hospital. Experience each day as she did, from the joy of saving a dog's leg to the agony of euthanizing a long-term patient. Kris and her husband, Steve, share their home with rescued cats, birds and a dog.
