Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant

Excellent Opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant. We are looking for a very motivated and responsible individual to help us care for our patients in our busy clinic in North Phoenix. You will help the doctor and other technicians with animal restraint, giving medications, feeding, and other animal care. You will also help care for animals in all areas of the clinic including boarding animals on your shift. Position will also include stocking of supplies, end of day closing and cleaning.

Position Responsibilities:

As a Veterinary Technician or Assistant at our hospital we expect you to provide the highest quality of technical nursing skills and patient care.
Perform TPR, blood draws, setting catheters, injections in a gentle and skilled manner.
Setup, assist, and monitor surgical procedures.
Dispense Medications, fill prescriptions
Provide care to hospital and kennel patients
Ensure that exam rooms, pharmacy, surgery and treatment areas are maintained according to clinic policies and standards.
Provide excellent customer communication and service.
